Vela
A mineral sunscreen campaign built around protection that travels.
Overview
Mineral-sunscreen campaigns often choose between sterile clinical proof and a beach scene that feels staged around the bottle. Apex built Vela as a warmer system: one recognizable pack moving naturally through product, texture, water, and everyday coastal rituals.
Independent concept study. Vela is a fictional brand created by Apex Studio; no client affiliation, efficacy claim, or performance result is implied.
The system

One pack, one warm visual language
The soft ivory bottle and coral cap give Vela an immediate silhouette. Copper type, mineral surfaces, and directional sunlight keep that identity coherent from a clean packshot to a lived-in beach bag.
Protection belongs
in the day.

Carried, not presented
Lifestyle frames treat the bottle as an incidental essential. Relaxed grips, used fabrics, cropped bodies, and natural attention make the work feel observed rather than staged for the label.
Make the formula tactile
The cream is shown as material, not decoration. Feathered edges, wet droplets, matte packaging, and water-caustic light give the campaign enough physical detail to communicate feel without inventing a claim.

From application to water
A warm coral-and-ivory grade ties together the self-care ritual and the coastal environment. The campaign can move from skin to shallow water while keeping the same light, material language, and quiet confidence.
